Hi I am Jade – happily married to Jules for almost 6 years now and we had lots of fun during the last couple of years, and now we finally decided it is time to make our life crazier and start working on having a new member in our family. We did not have babies right away after we got married. We wanted to enjoy each other’s company first.
I always knew that I wanted to be a mom. I have one younger brother and I am the eldest of all my cousins and so I always played mom to them during our play times.
Becoming a parent for the first time is exciting and also scary for me at the same time. I know that there is a lot to learn but I can confidently say I am ready. Besides my husband has had kids from his previous marriages so I guess he already know some of the drills of being a parent.
I am not really gonna stress myself out thinking about making babies all the time – it would come in the right time.
Some of you might know me already from Life and Me , my very first blog where I talk about my life in Singapore but unfortunately my Life and Me blog is being held hostage by the Big 
. My account there is disabled.
Oh well …. I hope it gets resolved soon.

When you “get there” read the book called, “What to Expect When Your Expecting.” You can find it on ebay (and probably Amazon too) It is a VERY interesting, Very readable book that tells you month by about the babys growth and the various physical and emotional things you may experience. Good luck on your journey to motherhood. My wife is 25 weeks pregnant today. It was a long and challenging journey. But the reward is wonderful.

Congratulations on your decision to finally work on being a Mom. You are right, it’s going to be roller coaster ride as soon as the new bundle is born. There’s no stopping to the prospect of those enriching emotions you are bound to experience as soon as you become a Mom.
As you might have already guessed or thought- motherhood, I believe is such a noble avocation that could bring unimaginable depths of happiness and love. But, do not discount moments of loneliness and fatigue as well. Though, I know you already are aware of that.
