False Alarm

I was late with my period for a couple of days, that’s what I thought at least. To be honest, I haven’t really paid so much attention on my cycle before and always thought that I had a 30 day cycle.

We excitedly bought a pregnancy test one day after I was suppose to get my period. The result was negative. I thought maybe I didn’t do the test right but I already also accepted the fact It was just too good to be true to hit the jackpot right away.

I got my period days after, I felt a bit sad but tried to get out of that state immediately. Days of not knowing was agonizing…ok maybe that’s a little bit exaggerated but you know what I mean, right?

I counted how many days ago I had my last period and it was 35 days – that was a big surprise for me. Even when I told my mom, she was shocked. I am not even sure now if I regularly get it every 35 days. I am now going to pay more attention to my body.

Hey, I am sorry to hear that. But don’t worry mnaybe this is not yet the time for you to have it. Just wait. Your friends were right, don’t try too hard, cos it might disappoint you everytime. by the way the regular cycle was 28 days, more than that I don’t know but it still normal… only if it happens once. Good Luck!

Thanks ladies!!! It’s really nice to hear support from you.

I was thinking exactly what some of you are suggesting…just relax, forget about the ovulation calendar and just let it happen when it’s time.

@ happy herbs – may I know your blog address so I can return your visits to my blogs? ;)

Try again, Jade. But I think, like all the rest of your friends are saying, stress can affect your chances. My unsolicited advice, just forget about it. Think only of love and love and love plus sexy, sexy, sexy.

A sip of wine perhaps :-)

Try to have an ambiance that is conducive to touching and touching and touching and then, tah dah loving :-)

    Cheers!

It took me almost 3 years to get Aidan. The way I finally go pregnant was I stopped worrying about getting pregnant. Too much stress hinders getting pregnant. Keep trying buddy! :o )

I know that can be frustrating, but don’t give up. Also, I know it’s hard, but try to relax and not think about it. Studies show that when potential mommies take the time to relax and get involved in other stuff they “forget” about getting pregnant. Then, for some reason, their bodies tell them to get pregnant. The less you focus on it the quicker it will happen. Good luck and have fun doing the making part! :D

I remember doing the exact same thing. After you figure out your cycle and if it is that long maybe you should speak to a doctor. I don’t know if that is normal or not but it wouldn’t hurt to ask!

    Good luck!!!

    Have an award for you!

try and try sis until you succeed.. just keep both of your bodies in good shape and health.. take enough rest, maybe a day or two, for both of you before making a baby coz sometimes stress affects the chance of conceiving.. that’s what happened to me.. i got pregnant 9 months after the wedding.. btw, congrats for the PR2.. :)
