Well since my last post was about fashion, lets go a bit deeper in to it.
This is inspired by Lily’s post, do yo know her by the way? Well, shame on you if you don’t. LOL!
You should seriously check her out. You will definitely laugh when you read her funny posts.
So anyway, hear goes my addition to that list of the worst fashion trends:
My No. 1 Trucker hat - It is SO ugly! I see this everywhere in Singapore. I don’t understand why youngsters like this at all. I mean come on,! Are they trying to look as dumb as possible? I cannot even believe that Justin and Ashton are fighting for credits for this Super duper ugly fashion trend they started. They should actually be ashamed!
No. 2 Jelly Shoes – I heard it’s very comfortable but I won’t get caught with this shoes.
It just looks so HIDEOUS. I am sorry if any of you gals have this but in my opinion – you should never ever wear this outside the house unless maybe your a little girl who is cute enough to get away with everything. By the way, cute is only for girls aged 12 and below.
No.3 The Shoulder Pads I never liked this even when my mom was wearing it. I remember it tried to make a comeback 2 – 3 years ago, luckily that didn’t stay for good. Why would you want to give the impression that you have big shoulders?
No. 4 Show your Boxers- this really really irritates the hell out of me. I mean why?
A guy with over sized jeans falling below his butt with his boxers showing.Whyyyyyyy? I still don’t understand what he aims to do.
Proposals to ban saggy pants are starting to ride up in several places. At the extreme end, wearing pants low enough to show boxers or bare buttocks in one small Louisiana town means six months in jail and a $500 fine.
Good! I hope they approve and pass that proposal all over the world!
No.5 Show your thong – this for me is kinda unclassy. Thongs are underwear and not meant to be shown public.
Is there anything else we have forgotten to mention?

This post made me laugh. Fortunately, most of these things are not popular where I live in the US. Jelly shoes and shoulder pads? Oh my!
i have never really understood the showing boxers thing. i think its hideous and its always the same boxers on show like calvin klein etc
The thong is the absolute WORST! EWWW!
I wanted jelly shoes in the 1980′s when I was just a girl. My mom wouldn’t let me get them. Now I kind of understand why.

Oh my! fashion disaster..
there are so many jelly shoes on display at the mall, the first time I saw them I said “wtf!” I wouldn’t dare wear them.

Oh the jelly shoes! I never could wear them because they seriously hurt my feet.
So true but I have to admit that I was attracted to those jelly shoes but I wore them for like a couple of times but I ignore them now. lol. They are everywhere and everybody’s wearing them so it’s egggh.

This is too funny! I have such great memories of my childhood in my jelly shoes. But you are right, you can’t be over the age of 10 and wear jelly shoes. Maybe I will get a pair just to wear around my house!
I so agree!!! However, in the 80s, I wore my shoulder pads and jelly shoes with pride! Now, the pants showing underwear is just trashy!
I think the shoulder pads were to make women look more like men, for business purposes, and make them seem “more powerful”. Silly people.
As for the backside-exposing #4 and #5: they’re both trying to show something off, but I agree with you that it isn’t their keen sense of fashion! *lol*
I agree with your post 100% but the one that truly boggles my mind (well, the thong one is one of those WTH?? things too) is the baggy pants/underwear one. How in God’s name are those pants staying up? How do they NOT fall to the ground the second the guy takes a step? What’s the purpose of the entire thing?
I just don’t get it.

i agree, Jelly shoes are really in here in Pinas, but no matter if everybody else is wearing it. I would dare.

I agree with the pictures being posted as fashion disasters. Especially if I see a guy who shows his boxer with oversize jeans, forbid me if I have a bf who wears like that, I would drop him like a hot potato. Come on, I dont get it, why it became a fad in here, it doesnt even look pleasing to the eyes. Goodness, just like when you walk you seem like dragging your pants Jezz..
