What I love here in Singapore is that people are very comfortable in expressing themselves through fashion. They are not afraid to wear whatever they feel like wearing may it be cutesy or quirky. I wonder if I would have the guts to be this daring if I were their age now? Would you ?

Thank you for adding your link to Blogcatalog Emila RSS Dolly Club.
I think if I was younger I may have the nerve. I do envy that about that area is the uniquness and creativity. Very cool pic.
hi jade! thanks for the visit…i just got back to blogging today…:-)
well to answer your question, i don’t think i can! hahaha i am still pretty conservative…
take care!
Hi Jade,
How the fashion trend changes. I don’t really follow what’s “in” in the fashion world. I still prefer what’s comfy to me and what makes me feel good. Not all can pull what’s the latest trend.
Take care :]
I can’t remember the last time I wore small heels, let alone heels like that! LOL
Umm, MasterCard not Visa? Women :S
Wow, I feel like I took a little trip around the world, thanks for the pic! (I write for an online fashion magazine too)I’m a little more conservative with an urban edginess and a bit of boho myself…can you picture that?
Hi, just came to drop my EC. thanks
I could never pull that off!!!
Happy WW!
When I was younger in my teens and up to mid 20′s, I dress up in such a way I want to express myself. I dressed quirky then. Now that I’m old, I don’t think it’s appropriate for a 40 year old to dress that way like the one in the photo
I like it! I can totally see you in that even now. I dare you!
I wish I was more daring with fashion and love seeing those who really know how to put it together.
I visited NYC for the first time this summer and the one thing that I immediately realized that no one cares! It was such a free feeling. I was not expecting that. I tend not to like large crowds, but it had the opposite impact on me that I expected.
Wow! Im not sure Id go that far!
It just looks uncomfortable to me!
I’m passed the stage where fashion takes precedence over comfort.
i’m just a tshirt and jeans gal. the attire in the pic, i don’t think i could pull it off.
btw, tagged you again:

I agree with every one else. I believe in each to their own but I wouldn’t wear that out fit.
Great pick for WW.
Thanks for stopping by to see mine!:-)
I’d like to think I would wear whatever I wanted, regardless of what other people thought
Pinoy Teens have started to wear these kinds of clothes too. You can see some of them hanging out in some malls where they attract a lot of attention.

It’s so hot here in Singapore!!
hint : look for it at my side bar.
Let me know when I have to send you the 1000ECs.
lol – WOW. A little loud for me – but if that’s what she likes…!
Happy WW!
maybe if I’m living in Singapore I would wear something like that but since I’m here in the Philippines better not to…..hehehe….
@ hicham – nit says “We prefer MASTERCARD” Lol
The picture was take at a shopping center with hip clothes;)
@ shawie – yeah it seems pretty normal here in Asia huh? I bet it’s much quirkier and wild in Japan.
@ helene – No they are not. I do have a shoe with a heel half that you see on the picture. I only wear it if I will only walk 20 steps from the car;)
@Tammy – it is but in Singapore you would see this get up quite often and it’s kinda cute and fascinating to look at….heheh
@ Aisha – yeah that’s what I though also;)
I guess each to his/her own.
Back in my younger days, looks were not as different from now. I must admit, back when I was 16 or 17 and was the trend that time, I got to wear hot pants. Aawww:-)
The term ‘hot pants’ alone could make you guess from what era I am from
Young generation tends to imitate the fashion from Japan and Korea. Even in Taipei you can see younger people wearing those kind of outfits.
It only a matter of what crowd you belong and comfortable with. I grew up in Taipei and those type of outfits doesnt shock me bec I’ve seen more funkier than that.
But for me, I still prefer the OL (office Lady) type of outfit in daytime and can add a little of sexiness if going out for clubbing or dinner.
Quirky is an understatement. Wow.
I definitely don’t think I could pull it off, therefore I wouldn’t even try!
I’ve a simple question: at the top of the photo there’s a sign says “We prefere”. What’s the rest of the sign?
Just curious to know
haha! the same kind of question I had when I was in Taiwan… it seemed as though when you’re surrounded with people with the same style it’s no biggie at all:) well, still it’s too baduy for me, Jade, haha!
Honestly, can those spiked heels really be that comfortable???!! But it’s cool that people there are comfortable wearing whatever they feel like wearing!
Hi Jade I wanna send you the code but I don’t know where to send. You can see the layout.

That’s a little unusual attire. ;o)
I tend to aim for comfort more than for style. I’m a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl!
Gosh! I would be totally uncomfy! LOL
