… for this month that is
Gotcha!!!
We will be leaving tomorrow morning to visit our tree farms in Palawan, Philippines. We have a lot to do while we are there. You see we plan to move there in the very near future so little by little we are preparing for the big move. We need to see the architect and start making decisions like when to start building and which contractor to get.
Another thing we have to do is to check all our 50,000+ trees …well I dunno if we will succeed in that but we will try. We have to make sure that all of them are healthy.
Once we move to the Philippines – life will be totally different!
Our farms is literally in the middle of nowhere. It is two hours away from the capital city of Palawan which is Puerto Princesa. There are no atms in this place and at the moment we do not have electricity yet in our place. We would like to keep our planet green and use solar power for our home. We still need to figure out if we can find solar panels in the Philippines.
But despite the simpleness of this place, we love it ! it’s just very relaxing to be around nature all the time and we feel at home.
We discovered this place called Estrella Village and fell in love with it. 15 minutes from our farm you will find the most amazing falls called Estrella Falls. You just have to see it to understand what I am talking about. When you go there, you would often have encounters with playful monkeys.
We plan to live a simple life and be self sufficient. When I am finally living there, I will be setting up a vegetable garden for my family and our people. We will also raise some chickens for eggs and meat. We already have a couple of trees that gave us fruit and have planted some more fruit trees a couple of months ago , so in a few months or years for some, we will be eating our own harvests.
So guys, this is where I will be for the majority of our two weeks work-holiday. I hope to see you all when I get back. I will try to log in once in awhile if I get the chance.
Take care and I will definitely miss you all!

The place looks like a smallholders paradise, too many trees to take in Jade, you’re on holiday after all.
Wheh you go ahead with the move make sure yu can deal with it mentally, many who start out with their dream realised end up missing the buzz from town and city life once the daily routine of a semi self sufficient home’s novelty has worn off.
Thanks for the visit to my site by the way.
martin in bulgaria’s last blog post..City Farm In Yambol Now On
@ martin in bulgaria – Yeah I know we would miss city life after awhile. I think we will still go every once in awhile to a big city to get supplies or for me to get my shopping fill. We have lived too long with the luxuries of life that I think it would take awhile to just live on simple things.
We’ll see…but I don’t know when will that happen.

is your farm located in Narra? I have family friends there. family name is Suarez and Golez.
