WS: Singapore's Chinese New Year Preparations

Bookmark and Share
This is my first time to join weekend snapshot.

My hubby came back this weekend ;) from his business trip and he brought a big surprise with him. An Olympus E – 520 DSLR cam. I was already thinking of getting a Nikon D-60 but this is much better according to reviews I read.

Of course I brought my new toy with me when we went to Chinatown last Saturday, and I was not disappointed. This is a great time to make pictures in Chinatown since the Lunar New year is fast approaching, there are a lot of decorations, stalls selling all kinds of stuff. This is my first time to use this camera so pictures I have are not super fabulous yet.

The queue to barbecued sweet pork

Candies $1 per 100 grams and strange fruit I don’t know what the name is

Check another WS shots I took at
pinayjade.com and read about the Year of the OX as well.

Hi Jade I was there too! I also took some photos. I must say the CNY atmosphere here in SG is much better than in M’sia.
