Do I miss Holland ?
It’s been almost 2 years since we left Holland. I must admit I do miss a few things from Holland. It has been my home for more than four years and I did grow a lot while living there.
I also have wonderful Filipino friends and people of other nationalities as well – friends that are always there for me whenever I need them – gossip, simple chat and of courses lunch companions.

I miss going to the Thursday Market to buy some herring and fresh pick fruits.
I miss working in my garden especially when the temperature is just right – not to warm and not too cold. I did spent alot of my time in my garden – I planted all kinds of things like the famous Holland tulips, dhalias and I also had a couple of fruit trees like Apple trees and Persimmon trees . They are probably dead by now ;( because nobody is taking care of them since our house there has not been sold yet.
I miss visiting places like historic places like Rotterdam, Delft and Amsterdam *sigh* and so as other neighboring European countries like Belgium and Germany.
But I what I don’t miss there is the gray weather. I heard it’s about 3 degrees there during the day. Brrrr! Oh and not to forget the high taxes one has to pay.

I’ve always wanted to visit amsterdam. you’re lucky to have seen these places. =)

Your post gives me a very good topic to blog about — Do I miss Switzerland?
Oh dear, I do miss Switzerland big time! But not the weather of course.

Yes, you are very lucky to have lived in several countries.
It’s a great experience.
