Me – a photo shoot model ?
Somebody brightened my day yesterday. A photographer saw my photo in a forum and asked me by email – inquiring if I can be a model for a photo shoot of Filipino/Filipina photographers here in Singapore. I am not going to hide the fact that it was a childhood dream of mine to be a model.
Of course I felt special just by receiving that note but I am quite heavy at the moment. I never really thought somebody would actually ask me to be one.
Hmmm maybe it’s something I can add to my resume? Blogger – Ebayer – Home Manager -Freelance writer wannabe – Model ?
If I were not trying to get pregnant at the moment, I might be thinking of finding the best diet pills in town …hehe or doing some crazy work out. But I am not doing that … don’t plant to sabotage my health right now.

You should try it while you can. My kids always get ask to do it pero I rather teach them first before working. Plus malalayo ang location, I don’t want to drive far with 4 kids.
BTW, ang sagot sa question mo is Marinduque. The island between the main land and Mindoro. At tagalog lang ang alam ko…lol. I just put it out there kc kapag sinabi ko ang island akala ng iba may dialect ako. My DH is actually laughing at me because sometimes I can’t translate English to tagalog for him, asking me if I am filipina

You really look like a model on that second photo. But be careful on dealing with strangers, maybe you can check out their agency/office first if it’s legit.

You are such a beautiful and sexy woman, and it doesn’t come as a surprise to me that you would be asked to be a model. But do check out the agency beforehand to see if it legit.

If you were asked to be a model for a photoshoot, and it’s your face that and pose that captivated them, the figure does not matter . I know because I used to own a modeling agency in the Philippines. Skinny models are a requisite for ramp, but photographic and commercial, what we wanted was the “face, the charisma, the character of the face, and the symmetry of the face”
So go ahead, try it.
I used to model too (2 ramp shows, 5 print commercials and 1 TV ad) but I also have some insecurities like you; you, your figure, mine was my face. I did some print commercials not because they find my face attractive, but because my face exudes character and charisma , they say. (Meaning, “di pa rin ako maganda…LOL!)

@ bingkee – Wow you just made my day – ibig sabihin my face value pala ako kahit papaano heheheh. I don’t know yet if I will do it because hubby is not very fond of the idea. Baka kasi daw sa kung saan gamitin yung pics ko hehehe.
I am not surprise that you modelled in the past I think your looks is very unique and exotic.
