Wordless / Wordful Wednesday: Mother Hen and Baby Chick

Hiya guys! Mommawannabe is back! Hope all of you are well.

We had a blast with our vacation, it was great to be in the farm. So many changes have taken place since we were there last November. My Dutch brother-in-law is now living there with his girlfriend and he’s really loving farm life. They even bought goats and have set up their own vegetable garden. That’s really great because he’s setting a good example for all our workers – we want them to be self sufficient.

We don’t have electricity yet in our farm but we are not totally disconnected with the world. There’s a good mobile connection there because a cell tower is nearby. Anyway, if there was no cell tower there, you could nowadays set up cell towers in your property….yeah I know what you are thinking! So many things are now within reach, almost nothing is impossible nowadays.

While we were visiting each of the tree farms, this mother and child chicken caught my attention. Ain’t it cute, a chicken piggybacking ;) ?

I’ll tell you more in the upcoming days…I need to catch up on my laundry.
