Broom and Vacuum Cleaners both have pros and cons. Broom are great to clean small areas and corners. While vacuum are good for cleaning fast.
Both are a great tool to help homemakers like me. During the regular cleaning and I would use a broom, but for general cleaning a good vacuum is a must. On the early stage of me being a homemaker, I spent lots of time trying to find the Best Vacuum for myself.
I have tried several types of vacuum, the traditional one with a bag you have to replace when it’s full with dirt. And later on the bag less type of vacuum. What I have not tried is the one with water and the robotic ones. I would love to try the latter.
Before you buy a vacuum, do check out a Vacuum Cleaner Guide to help you decide which one of the vacuum in the market has the best feed backs from consumers. Several vacuum that I read some good interviews in the past are Dyson Vacuum Cleaners. I haven’t had the chance though to try them out.
So anyway, are you a broom or a vacuum person..or both?

Don’t buy the Dirt Devil Broom Vac! I bought one and after 6 months the plastic rim slid past the bristles and scratched my hardwood floorS!!! Dirt Devil does stand behind the product defect and will not pay for the damages! I have huge sweeping scratch marks on my hardwood floors the broom vac left behind!
Vacuum for me. Easier to use even in those hard to reach areas such as back of computer table and tv cabinet

Both. Our kitchen floors are hardwood, and living room. But the bedrooms, and all other rooms are carpet. I sweep with a broom on hardwood floors and vacuum carpet.
I bought a vaccum which cost $300 here.

Definitely the vacuum for me. I like to get rid of ALL the dust and not just sweep it around from one place to the other. With one of those HEPA filters you blow the tiny dust bits back in the air and can really have a clean place. Brooms are for me only for outdoors.

Hmm… I guess I’m a broom person, never used vacuum in my whole life. LOL! But would surely want to try vacuuming as it looks like it can clean the house faster.
By the way, I’m currently building my site’s blogroll and I was hoping that we can exchange links? Holler me back okay? ^_^ Thanksie.

I love my vac! My broom not so much – I use both but the vac gets stuff the broom leaves behind.
