Operation: Sofa Makeover
I am tired of looking at the same old tones in our family room. It just seems so “safe”, you know what I mean?
I want a more cheerful home so I will be on a mission in the coming weeks. I will try to makeover our home without spending a fortune. I aim to spend as little as possible as my grandma’s birthday is coming up so I want to save some money for her big birthday bash.
Today I went to Spotlight to check out some fabrics and with great ease I collected a few colorful fabrics which screamed “Spring Fever!” and got some other irresistible fabric pieces which I will sew into new tops for moi.
I will make this week new throw pillow covers and if I have enough time, I’ll make some tops for me too. Anyway, the sofas are my top priority. I am looking for a splash of color to brighten those sofas.
We don’t need to paint, buy new furniture, Sylvania light bulbs etc. The room just needs a little lift to have our spirits roar again!
Redecorating doesn’t always mean big! Sometimes even as small as new throw pillows is all you need.
Watch out for the reveal my lovelies!

Wow! I wish I knew how to sew, too, so I can also do a makeover of our home. If I can, I will probably start with the curtains.

Hmmmm… good luck with the make over. That feels good when you know you’re making over something…exciting and you actually cant wait to see the results.
