I think you can’t really stop comments like that, it’s like an automatic conversation piece right? Insensitive of them to say something crude in issues as intimate as this. It’s like talking about your vagina. Sucks but true. Instead of getting irritated with them, accept this as a reality and ignore. They’re not the ones who feed you.

Does anyone have any advice on how to make them stop??? I have never wanted children and made sure my husband was ok with this before we got married. Now his mom makes a comment EVERYTIME I see her. She says things like “I want a grandchild”, I get to go to a baby shower with herthis weekend! Yippee!

I agree with Badet in his time you will have the baby. the more stressed you are the more it will not come I think. My friend waited for 7 years before she got a kid but that was a sad story even before the kid turned 1 she died of a car accident.
