My IVF Journey – The 2 Week Wait

July 4 – After the embryo transfer we went home in the afternoon, I just stayed on the sofa. I was afraid to move, to sneeze or poop – scared that the embryos might fall out or something. Hey you can never be too careful in this situation…

The first couple of days was alright but after several days this is becoming the longest 2 weeks of my life. I must be on bed rest, not move too much. I had to stay at home for the whole duration.

Why? Because we have to make sure that the embryos stay where they are suppose too.

Anyhoo, if you are going through this at the moment, just try to relax and read the next post on What to do when you are in a bed rest.

Bed rest is the worst! And you made it through with flying colors (and a baby)!

I know what you mean. I never had the embryo transfer but after we get a positive ovulation and do the “deed” I am afraid to move!

I’m in the middle of my 2ww as well, not driving me too crazy yet.
Something interesting to know though is that the inside of the uterus is like velcro stuck together, the embryo can’t fall out. Good luck!
