Babies and Tradition
Baby shower is an old tradition and a popular one too. It is a way to celebrate the future birth of a child. The gifts that the expectant mother get from the baby shower are great get mostly baby items. Although some believed that the term shower means to shower moms to be with gift, traditionally it is not. Baby shower is not just held as a way to give gifts to a mom- to- be but to share wisdom and lessons on the art of motherhood.
In some, baby shower is a like a breathe of fresh air. Pregnancy has never been easy. A woman 
undergoes a lot of physical changes. A pregnant woman also experience a lot of emotional ups and down. A party for a mom is a great way to ease the emotional turbulence a mom to be has. And baby showers favors should be the least of their problems. Some of the baby showers I attended to had the most adorable party favors! One of my favorite is a egg timer like the one on the picture on the right . It made the party memorable to me and up to now I am still using this timer in my kitchen.
If in time I am blessed to organize my own baby shower, I would make it a point to have the best and the most memorable baby shower favors for my visitors. I think it is the only way I can thank them for the knowledge they would share with me.
