Who are you?

Hi! I am Niko, I am a Happy Mom and Wife, a Full time office slave and a Part time BLOGGER 🙂

What is motherhood like?

Motherhood is like having no sleep at all when the baby arrived BUT not being sleepy the next day coz you can’t get enough of her ^_^. Motherhood is being one person with multiple persona, you get to be the playmate, the best friend, the teacher, sometimes the villain and the wonderMom forever!

When did you know you are ready for motherhood?

I know I was ready the moment I saw 2 lines at the pregnancy test, lol. I have been into depression of wanting a baby, got used to seeing 1 line on PT everytime. So when I finally saw 2 lines – how can I not be ready? I have been preparing for a long time, lol.

What challenges did you face during the first years?

Husband and I lived with my inlaws the first year,  we both have to work but leaving Yena to a nanny is never an option. The grannies want to be her nanny so it’s a treat already. But since my MIL was still taking care of my sick FIL, every morning we have to bring my daughter to my Mom which is 5 minutes away from our place. It was hard, the first day I went to work after my maternity leave – I cried. I thought I was going crazy.. I can’t leave my daughter even for just a day.

How many children do you have and do you want more?

I have my Yena, she is two years and two months old now. On her 3rd birthday, husband and I are planning to give her a playmate. I hope it will be a boy and I will name him Yushin. ^_^

What do you like about being a mother/ parent?

I love it when Yena kisses me all over, hugs me tight and plays with me. She is my shopping buddy now. I cannot go out of the house without her! She is my TAIL. ^_^

Is there anything you dislike about being a mother/parent ?

I love everything about being a mom BUT when she throws tantrums and I cannot control her, I dislike it. I tend to spoil my child too much and I need my husband to do the disciplining part.

What advice would you give to anyone following in your footsteps?

Motherhood is an endless joy! Embrace it and motherhood will give you rewards no monetary amount can offer.

What are your plans for the future?

Buy a bigger house. Give yena the best of education. Give my child the best of everything if I can, ^_^
