Bleeding at 5 Weeks

Last night at about 9:30 pm, I had some severe cramping and went to the bathroom because I had to pee. When I checked my undies, I saw some brownish blood stain. It was a round 2 cm in diameter. I didn’t see any more blood after I have cleaned up.

After that I haven’t noticed any spotting or cramps till now. This is freaking me out… not knowing if my baby/ies are alright. I am now back to bedrest until furthur notice.

Has anyone here experience this during their pregnancy and still had good ending?

Bleeding on the onset of pregnancy is normal to some. It happened to me all the way to my last term so I was in bed most of the time. I was also given a medication for the baby to stick. It was difficult but it was all worth it.

Just relax and try not to carry heavy objects or stress yourself out. R and R are all you need.

    Hugs and keep safe!

I did have bleeding during my first few weeks din, some say it’s still implantation bleeding, as long as it doesn’t happen too often. Will keep you in my prayers.

Hi, according to what I read online, the spotting (brownish in color) is normal since the zygote (baby) is implanting in your uterine lining. that is why you had cramping and spotting. I had cramping and spotting too.

Yes, I had this “spotting” with my first son and he is now 13 years old. I will keep you in my prayers.

I had spotting a couple of time during the first few weeks of pregnancy. I guess as long as it’s just spotting and not bleeding, you’re perfectly fine. I agree with Kayth, sabi nga nila “normal” din minsan yung spotting during the first few weeks because of the embryo implanting itself or something to that effect. don’t worry, jade. my prayers are with you. :)

Brownish blood stain is normal based on my experience. This stain is the old blood. It is alarming if the blood is pink or red. If this is the case you should immediately contact your OB.

    God bless on your pregnancy!
