I ate black-eyed peas but not cabbage. Lined up all of the kids and made them eat some black-eyed peas too.
I made a dish called Hoppin’ John, with black-eyed peas, bacon, bell pepper, onion, celery and garlic, served on a bed of rice. It turned out really good, and I’m sure I will make it again.
