My Acne Problem
Women have so many issues, to name a few; cellulites, weight problem and acne.
My worst enemy of all these is acne. For a very long time I have been trying to find a way to get rid of this problem. I think I have tried all sort of cure but finding the best acne treatments that suit you can be quite tricky too. What works for one might not work for you.
Okay maybe acne is not life threatening but it is seriously bad for ones ego.
If you have serious acne, you can better go consult a dermatologist. However, in milder cases you will often be able to get it under control by yourself just by persevering.
Tips to conquer your acne:
Diet
Very important, eat at least 5 types of fresh fruit and vegetables each day. As we all know fresh fruits and vegetables are full of nutrients that our body needs. They boost the immune system and are good antioxidants. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to flush your system of toxins.
Cosmetics
Hypo-allergenic and water based cosmetics are the way to go. Avoid heavy creams and the oil free products. Also don’t forget to wash your skin thoroughly every night to remove makeup residue.
Clean Skin
Do not scrub your face harshly and clean your skin nightly. Try to use an exfoliator to gently remove damaged skin and unplug pores once or twice a week.
Stress
It is contributing factor to acne so try to take it easy and relax. Emotions do trigger chemical reactions in our body, which can cause an outbreak.
Hormones
Hormones can play a role in acne flare ups and they can be used to reduce outbreaks. Your doctor may decide to use HRT to eliminate or reduce your acne outbreaks.
Do not touch
Do not touch your face- our hands are dirty no matter how clean we think we are.
These steps have helped me in the last couple of weeks and I think that for me, this is the best acne solution.

Wordless/ Wordful Wednesday – My Sister
Well she is not really my sister by birth but we did grew up together and my mom practically brought her up. We like my brother didn’t always got along but now that they are older – they are my best friends. I love seeing and meeting up with them whenever I am in the Philippines.
I also worry about them – I was like a mom to them when my mom went abroad to work so she can support us.
When I went away,I heard one time when we were catching up on chat – that she was taking some diet pills to shed some pounds. I did read about it an found out that there are some counterfeits around. So I did warn her about this because it is dangerous to just take pills that are fakes.
Anyway, I read another pill called atro phex that seem to have lots of negative feed backs as well. We should always be careful on what we put inside our body. Once the damage is done, it would be difficult to undo it.
Anyway, I’d like to take this chance to wish my sister Chie “A Happy Happy Birthday!!!”
Beer is good for you?
Beer have so many varieties- they have light colored to very dark ones. Belgium is very popular with it’s wide range of beers – a few that I know of are Trappist, Dubbel, Blonde or Golden Ale and Stout. Belgians drinks on on an average 93 litres of beer per year.
My goodness!
Did you know that beer are good for the health too?
Well according to Tufts University’s study, moderate consumption of beer can decrease your cholesterol level, reduce the amount of fibrinogen in your blood (which is a protein that is responsible for blood clotting), and not only that it can also increase the level of antioxidants in your body.
But not all beers are going to give to give you equal health benefits. If you are to drink beer for health reasons, take dark beers. They have more flavonoids than light beer. Flavonoids are found in chocolate and red wine and plants.
Flavonoids have been proven to prevent cancer and promote a healthy heart. Sure, you can find flavonoids in other foods, such as fruits and vegetables, but they are also present in high numbers in dark beer.
My hubby drinks beer once in awhile preferably ice cold but I am more of a root beer person;).
