Anyway, now I am thinking very positively and I am visualizing already that I will be pregnant next month. We will be moving to the Philippines soon and I hope I am pregnant  already by that time and hopefully a baby shower would already be in order . In fact I am already thinking about what baby items I would want to buy for my baby.If I will have  a baby shower, I already have a list of what I would like to receive, stuff like baby bedding ,baby crib bedding ,baby blankets are on the top of my list and of course diapers, baby clothes and baby room decors will also be very nice to receive.

I always love concocting baby names for my future children. I have been thinking about since I was 6 I think. Giving somebody his or her name is one of the most challenging thing a parent has to do. The name the child will get will be with him/her forever so a lot of thought has to be put into it. You cannot just give the child any name, think about how it would affect him, would he be teased or discriminated because of it.

I have two given names myself, my husband has one. He thinks our children should have just one first name as it would be easier for them when the time comes they need to fill up forms. I wanted a unique combination, something other people won’t think of formulating.

My hubby and I have already several names in our mind, we’ll reveal it when we we already have good news !

I just got a great news this wonderful Monday morning from my Kumareng Pehpot – she has given birth to Sati already. She sent me a picture and I hope you don’t mind girl me sharing this to the world because I am really proud to be a godmother to this beautiful baby. I am sure she will be loved by the whole blogosphere together with your other pretty Ninangs – Fedhz, Niko and Kaye.

In some, baby shower is a like a breathe of fresh air. Pregnancy has never been easy. A woman undergoes a lot of physical changes. A pregnant woman also experience a lot of emotional ups and down. A party for a mom is a great way to ease the emotional turbulence a mom to be has. And baby showers favors should be the least of their problems. Some of the baby showers I attended to had the most adorable party favors! One of my favorite is a egg timer like the one on the picture on the right . It made the party memorable to me and up to now I am still using this timer in my kitchen.

If in time I am blessed to organize my own baby shower, I would make it a point to have the best and the most memorable baby shower favors for my visitors. I think it is the only way I can thank them for the knowledge they would share with me.

In my country, baptismal is a well celebrated event. Families are busy decorating the house with baptismal decors and cooking food to serve to their guests. It is a very important part of a baby’s life and their family will make sure it leaves a lasting impression on the guest and of course to them too. They buy party favors, baptism favors and even go as far as customized party favors. I have attended countless baptismal party and I can say that the decorations can really make a difference. The child may not vividly remembers her Baptismal day but the pictures won’t lie.

Some moms are way ahead than others. Some already planned their baby’s first birthday party even before they give birth! Party planning can be hard at times specially if you have no idea where to begin. Some people just don’t know when to stop or consider the person’s feelings. There are several people that tells me every chance they get how amazing it is to have children and so on blah blah blah….don’t they know that they are becoming very very annoying!

I have been married for more than 6 years and people have been asking me these questions since I got married. In the past I tell them we are gonna wait a little bit because that’s what we wanted, enjoy each other’s company first.

Now that we are actually TTC ( Trying to Conceive) …I get upset when people ask me these questions or give comments over and over like broken record.

I am glad I am far away from one particular girlfriend otherwise I would have put shutters on her mouth.

Can’t people just keep to themselves? What if the person who they are talking to can’t have children? Or maybe they don’t want to have children but it’s nobody’s business!

There are sets that are gender specific and others that can be used for either baby boys or baby girls in short unisex. (To be honest I don’t know yet myself! )

I think it would be setting up a baby nursery would be less problematic though if you buy a complete set like those bed-in-a-bag set which already includes the sheets, pillow cases,shams and comforter.

If you are good in sewing, you can create your own bedding sets for your baby. There are even materials in gold and silver to use for your child’s bedding so they can sleep in the lap of luxury.
