Holiday with the Family
Going on a holiday trip with the family? One of the best destination is Manchester in UK. There are many tourist sites that everyone can visit, there are museums like The Urbis an exhibition center that features contemporary art, music, fashion and photography and other family-oriented shows, the Science and Industry museum which is very educational for the kids and parents alike.
The City Cathedral, Central library and Theater and many more interesting attractions. If you want to experience living in a luxurious hotel you can stay at The Palace Hotel. The Palace has a very beautiful architectural design like the name itself, and the location is good because it is in the heart of the city, where your favorite places are just on a walking distance, like the Palace Theatre for entertainment and for shoppers, the boutiques and fashion designer stores. Staying at The Palace Hotel Manchester is already a memorable experience.
Hubby's travels
Hubby is in Japan right now eating all those heavenly Japanese food like kobe beef, sashimi, soba, all sorts of sushi and many more weird food that I would love to try. I wish I could travel with him!
Now would have been a great time to travel because we don’t have kids yet so we are free to go wherever and also because it is recession so there’s a lot of good travel deals….but the problem is the H1N1 virus. I don’t want to risk of getting sick just to take advantage of the cheap airfares.*sigh*
Hubby has such a great job being able to travel the world. He has been all over – Versailles, Czech, Mexico, California etc. Wish I could tag along on all those trips.
There are even times when they had to attend an award’s night for CEOs and the day after that they have had team building, meetings and of course visit the amazing restaurants in San Diego with ocean view.
What a job! He says he doesn’t really like travelling…well I could take up his place anytime;)
An excuse to buy new swimsuits for the summer
If you’re thinking of spending summer vacation in a place that offers sun, sand and entertainment (not to mention a gorgeous array of fresh seafood), I have a few suggestions for you.
Tropical Paradise Option #1: Aruba
This tropical paradise is for you if you want to hit the beach upon arrival. Can you imagine running towards the water shedding your clothes and your luggage as you go? Of course, you might want to change into your swimwear while you’re on the plane to avoid the ‘inconvenience’ of going to your hotel to change. Though that sounds like an exaggeration, it’s pretty close to the truth.
Most hotels are along the sea shore, which is awesome, but not if you want to keep the wind off your face for a few minutes. For those who really want to rest first before experiencing the amount of wind that is associated with Palm Beach, you can stay at the Americana Aruba Beach Resort and Casino, which located further inland than most hotels.
Tropical Paradise Option #2: Hawaii
If you’re looking for an excuse to buy the most beautiful swimsuits available on sale in a nearby mall, or you want to show off your extensive collection of bathing suits, then you should definitely head to Hawaii. It’s perfectly acceptable to wear swimwear tops everywhere on the island.

Even the hotels are furnished with picture-perfect island décor, so walking around in your bathing suits won’t seem out of place.
If you don’t feel like going to the beach, you can participate in miniature golf tournaments, whale-watching, biking, horseback riding and hiking.
One last reminder before you pack your bags: Remember to buy several bottles of sunscreen. Have fun!
