The City Cathedral, Central library and Theater and many more interesting attractions. If you want to experience living in a luxurious hotel you can stay at The Palace Hotel. The Palace has a very beautiful architectural design like the name itself, and the location is good because it is in the heart of the city, where your favorite places are just on a walking distance, like the Palace Theatre for entertainment and for shoppers, the boutiques and fashion designer stores. Staying at The Palace Hotel Manchester is already a memorable experience.

Now would have been a great time to travel because we don’t have kids yet so we are free to go wherever and also because it is recession so there’s a lot of good travel deals….but the problem is the H1N1 virus. I don’t want to risk of getting sick just to take advantage of the cheap airfares.*sigh*

Hubby has such a great job being able to travel the world. He has been all over – Versailles, Czech, Mexico, California etc. Wish I could tag along on all those trips.

There are even times when they had to attend an award’s night for CEOs and the day after that they have had team building, meetings and of course visit the amazing restaurants in San Diego with ocean view.

What a job! He says he doesn’t really like travelling…well I could take up his place anytime;)

Tropical Paradise Option #1: Aruba

This tropical paradise is for you if you want to hit the beach upon arrival. Can you imagine running towards the water shedding your clothes and your luggage as you go? Of course, you might want to change into your swimwear while you’re on the plane to avoid the ‘inconvenience’ of going to your hotel to change. Though that sounds like an exaggeration, it’s pretty close to the truth.

Most hotels are along the sea shore, which is awesome, but not if you want to keep the wind off your face for a few minutes. If you don’t feel like going to the beach, you can participate in miniature golf tournaments, whale-watching, biking, horseback riding and hiking.

You just need to be smart and prepare ahead for it. I personally like going on All Inclusive Holidays because it saves us a so much hassle trying to find a good and yet affordable restaurant and finding the tourist spots we must see.

If you are on the budget, especially when you are with going with like 4 children or so – booking an all-inclusive holiday package can save you lots. Most of the time all-inclusive package holiday companies have close ties with hotels & popular tourist spots in the country so that means they can get a better rate than you can! So in other words – You will get the discounts.

We all know that planning a holiday can give you headaches! When you book an all-inclusive holiday package, you are actually giving yourself the chance to enjoy the holiday without having to worry about the teeny tiny details. I know that for a fact because we have done several all-inclusive holidays myself with the Supporting Spouse.

Our first All Inclusive Holiday was in Turkey. We even took the Ultra All Inclusive for that trip. It was just wonderful. From the accommodation, food to entertainment – all were already taken care of. The only thing that we needed to worry about is how much fun you are going to have during the holiday.

I’ve been to New York once and that was more than 6 years ago, my husband was living and working in Connecticut at that time. I loved it the first time I was there and I would definitely want to see it again.

I really liked the yellow cabs – I like their uniformity.

I think New York would be lovely in the Spring, if only hubby is not so busy during this time of year. If  we get a chance to go there again, I’d like to see and explore the Union Square Green Market and walk on Central Park.

Well maybe  we’ll have a chance to go there later this year. Fingers crossed. I am gonna do some research about it and find New York City hotelthat is nearto the tourist attractions I would like to see.

It’s probably because we ate pizza and pasta everyday (my favorite foods) -  but seriously I’ve always had passion for history and you have so much of that there.

It’s a pity we were not able to visit Rome while we were living in Europe. That’s a place on my Travel wishlist I really would love to see before I die.

Who wouldn’t want to go on a vacation in Rome, Italy? Just hearing the name Rome makes me think of crowned emperors and magnificent architectural buildings. Rome is one of the oldest cities in Europe and offers a handful of sightseeing places from churches, museums, monuments, mansions and palaces.

The landmark that probably everybody knows in Italy is the Colosseum – it was  a place where gladiators fought for their lives to entertain emperors. Have you seen the film Gladiator? It is more or less something like that.

Rome or Italy for that matter is not all monuments and architecture. The city has also elaborate parks, gardens and villas that are mostly open to the public. The best time to travel to Italy is in mild Spring to the Summer months so it is then April to September.

There is so many  things to see in Rome so if we get the chance to visit this city, it would have to be at least 2 weeks. Vacationing in Italy is not cheap, so if you have plans to go to Rome as well, you better look around for cheap vacation rentals in Rome first.
