This is truly a blast from the past. This was when I was in elementary, Grade 5 to be exact and I was muse for our class I think. There was like a competition of best muse or something, I don’t know anymore but I did won . I recall that I didn’t expect to win as I could hardly smile because I had singaw / mouth ulcer that day. Well, I always have singaw when I am stressed or nervous.

I’d rather not show you this because as you see I was not smiling here Nakakatakot !

Weight: Need ba talga i bulgar to? Ok sige na nga 56 kls ( hindi 58 ) on good days 59 on not so good days When I got married I weigh 50 to 51 kilos, seems like every year a kilo is added.

Vital Statistics: 34 30 (yaiks) 36

I don’t have a recent photo as I don’t feel like seeing myself lately, hehehehe.

My Valentine’s Date for 2010

We’re not really big on celebrating lovey dovey occasions but since February 14, Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year falls on a weekend this year, I think we will be going out anyway. We might check out the Chinese celebration in the city. I don’t think it will be a romantic date because we have a third wheel here ( my brother ) :p .

I am sure the city will be very red with the 2 occasions happening on the same day. This is also very rare as this is only the third time it happened since the 1900 and it won’t happen again till year 2030.

Anyway, I wish everyone a Happy Valentines’ Day and Gong Xi Fa Coi !

I want glasses that are really hip but I don’t want to burn a hole in my pocket so I thought I would check online for some good deals first. Well it is my lucky day as I found $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses …love the designs and the price too.

The New Arrivals are really really pretty, I think it would take awhile before I can choose what I really want.

When we speak of vintage, the first thing that comes to mind are clothes (or cars, depending on your gender. LOL). But there are people who associate the word with jewelry, particularly the collectors. These people’s passion for vintage jewelry is understandable, as who would not be intrigued with the history attached to, say,vintage rings ? Not to mention the originality of the design, the quality of workmanship and the sentimental value that each and every piece carries. And what woman in her right mind can resist the glamor that comes with vintage? It’s like being a royalty yourself when you don them. Think queen of England. That glamorous.

I, myself, would definitely fall into a swoon if when my husband decides (in all his wisdom and sensitivity to my inner needs *hint, hint*) to give me one of those Vintage Anniversary Rings I’ve been lusting after for so long. It would be the ultimate profession of love, trust me. Haha. And no, dear husband. I am not that choosy. Any one of those gorgeous Vintage Pendants I would also be glad to receive. Hee hee. Could you make that a Victorian? No? That’s asking too much? Okay, I’ll settle for Edwardian. *grins*

Christmas Gift Ideas

With the holidays just around the corner, almost everybody is coming up (if not finished already) with their Christmas wishlist. The kids most likely have toys on their list. The guys, on the other hand, would probably have gadgets on top of theirs.

As for the ladies, there is a plethora of gifts that we would be ecstatic to receive. We are not, after all, choosy creatures. LOL! And it’s not that we desire a lot of things, no. We are just flexible species. Haha. Gifts for the home would be perfect for us, as we are almost in search for stuff that will add beauty to our home. A personalized version of anything would surely hit the right spot, and the more personalized, the better. Beauty kits are always welcome, and we would certainly be able to put that to good use. A new dress or any article of clothing is also a superb choice, as there never seems to be enough in our closets.

Even any food as a gift would be received with utmost warmth. See, we are all about who gives us the gift, rather than what gift is given. But of course, the ultimate gift would be for our loved ones to buy Tiffany Jewelry for Christmas for us. Hehehe. What lady would not swoon over a gorgeous Tiffany bracelet, earring, necklace, ring, or any other piece of jewelry for that matter? Although, as above-mentioned, it’s not about the what. It’s about the who.

Remember my post about Imelda Marcos – The Queen of Shoes, she was totally crazy about shoes. She was even listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the woman with the largest collection of shoes. She had 3,400 pairs of shoes, MY GOSH! From what I heard, she had all almost all types of shoes in her closet. I am sure she had some of the most beautiful women’s boots.

In my point of view, women all over the world do love shopping for shoes, clothes and all that crap. What can we do, we are programmed that way. But let’s not exaggerate. If you have seen Shopaholic, you would certainly think that women are so shallow and I don’t think that’s what we want to project, right?

Let’s be smart and buy good long lasting pair of shoes, like a good pair of Manolo Blahnik perhaps?
